From Blood and Ash: Sony's Next Big Fantasy TV Adaptation

Jennifer L. Armentrout's From Blood and Ash series is being adapted for television by Sony, the studio behind Outlander. The popular romantasy series, first published in 2020, tells the story of Poppy, a young woman burdened with the fate of her kingdom. With nearly a million copies sold, the series has long been considered ideal for a screen adaptation. Sony plans to develop the five existing novels—From Blood and Ash, A Kingdom of Flesh and Fire, The Crown of Gilded Bones, The War of Two Queens, and A Soul of Ash and Blood—into an ongoing series.

According to Screen Rant, the adaptation is still in its early stages, and details about the creative direction or casting remain under wraps.
