Vogue World: Hollywood celebrates fashion and cinema at Paramount Studios

On the historic Paramount lot, Vogue World: Hollywood celebrated the vibrant intersection of fashion and cinema. The event was structured into seven chapters, each representing different film genres—such as Afrofuturism, historical, and sci-fi—as well as various aesthetics like Gothic and Western. Each chapter featured the work of a world-renowned costume designer, displayed alongside fashion pieces created in collaboration with seven major fashion houses.

The event showcased an array of costumes, couture, and custom looks, with models and stars wearing both archival and contemporary runway clothing. Among the attendees were iconic movie characters, including Charlie Chaplin’s Little Tramp and Audrey Hepburn’s Holly Golightly from Breakfast at Tiffany's.

Notably, 100% of ticket proceeds and the earnings from an exclusive eight-piece Vogue World: Hollywood capsule designed by Jerry Lorenzo of Fear of God will support the Entertainment Community Fund. This charity aids actors, workers, and creatives in the film industry, with a particular focus on helping costume professionals affected by the LA wildfires. Additionally, Paramount Pictures has pledged a donation to the fund.

The event opened with a surprise musical performance by Nicole Kidman, who took to the stage as Gilda, singing "Put the Blame on Mame." Dressed in custom Chanel and Chanel Fine Jewelry, Kidman captivated the audience as she walked through the Paramount studios. Director Baz Luhrmann was also present, guiding her performance and energizing the crowd, even playfully calling for more enthusiasm from the front row.

The excitement peaked when Kendall Jenner made her entrance on the runway, adorned in an original costume from Moulin Rouge!, designed by Catherine Martin, while Chris Isaak’s “Baby Did a Bad Bad Thing” played in the background. This dynamic blend of music, fashion, and cinematic nostalgia showcased why events like Vogue World: Hollywood are celebrated in the industry.
